About the Elbert County Sheriff's Office


Welcome to the Elbert County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's office is responsible for law enforcement, investigations, and detentions within Elbert County, Colorado. The Elbert County Sheriff's office works with community members and leaders to provide protection and service to our community as a whole. By handling over 14,000 calls for service from the resident's of Elbert County as well as providing mutual aid to other agencies and counties, the Sheriff's Office protects and improves the quality of life for the citizens of the county by reducing crime.
